Text subtitle codecs can be converted to a downloadable text subtitle. Image-based subtitle tracks such as PGS cannot be turned into text by this extractor.

No subtitle track means there is nothing to extract
The tool reports the streams actually present in the media container. It does not generate subtitles when the file has no embedded subtitle stream.

Questions about this tool
Why is the video showing subtitles but no text track is available?
The subtitles may be burned into the video pixels or stored as bitmap images. Neither is an extractable text track in this tool.
Do my files or text leave this device?
